I believe education is the key to a better society. It is my personal belief that the quality of teachers and education, in general, is the main reason for the problems facing humanity at the moment. Then there is also the selfish reason of being able to have the most impact on a person’s life by shaping their mind for the better. The fulfilment of watching a child grow into a mature, rational, cultured young adult under your tutelage is a reward in itself.
I am responsible for ensuring that Pasxcel remains a safe haven (physically, mentally and spiritually) for teachers, students and parents. I am in charge of ensuring every teacher and student that joins the Pasxcel community is nurtured with our values. Besides that, I spend my time providing support to students and training for the educators.
A great education should be transformative. It should mould your child’s identity, mind and belief system. This is why at Pasxcel we instil the belief that human potential is limitless. And that your child can achieve whatever they put their mind to as long as they are willing to put in time, effort, and commitment.
A great education does not merely focus on the As. It cultivates the belief in your child that they should strive for an A because it is who they are. The belief that he or she will always do the very best in all circumstances.
And a great education is not just academics. It covers all aspects of being a good member of a community. From communication to coding. From finance to agriculture. A great education should above all prepare our children to be adaptable and resilient.
I created Pasxcel for the misfits, the outcasts and the outstanding ones.
Students who were told that they are not good enough to achieve a certain grade, students who all others have given up on, students who are so intelligent that they find school such a bore because they are capable of so much more.Pasxcel was created to provide them a sense of community and comraderie.
Pasxcel was created for the teachers who are dissatisfied with just pushing papers and grading assessments. Pasxcel was created for teachers who wanted to make a difference. It was meant to provide the support system so great teachers can do what they do best, moulding young minds and shaping the future.
And together we are building Pasxcel up, every single day.
