Teacher Rasyad studied Theoretical Physics and for a while he was working as a theoretical physicist. His area of research was Theoretical Nuclear Astrophysics and Particle Physics. His passion for teaching Mathematics and Physics led him to become a teacher with Pasxcel where he aims to instil in his students the joy of finding things out. His classes are usually very broad ranging and engaging. And rather than just explaining the concepts, he ties it in with the students’ experiences, the mundane then becomes the beautiful. His classes tend to have a habit of going into far off regions where he takes his students on a tour of the universe, from the very big to the very small, stretching the limits of their imaginations.
Masters in Theoretical Physics
Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Python Coding, World History
To change the way education is done in this country, Of course, there is also the sheer joy in introducing the students to new ideas and exploring it together with them. I find that I learn a lot more about the world from their seemingly innocent questions. As much as being an educator is about educating, we are doubly blessed by being educated ourselves.
I also teach Coding and World History to the students. Apart from that, I also conduct the Book Club once a month, where I lead the students in their discussions.
To me, a good education is one where the students are exposed to a wide variety of ideas and points of view. Where they are taught to think for themselves and able to discover and develop new interests and passions.
It is the care that Pasxcel places in their students that attracted me to them. As well as the philosophy behind their teaching. Pasxcel places a great deal of attention not only to their students but also to the teachers. Teachers here are treated as they should; as educators and not merely a headcount.
I speak a few ancient languages such as Ancient Greek, Latin, Classical Arabic and Sanskrit. I also enjoy playing the piano and violin.
