My Story
When I first chanced upon the idea of being home-schooled, I was incredibly nervous. I thought my grades would fluctuate terribly because a lot of people say that you do not learn anything from homeschooling. Nonetheless, I was proven wrong. I must say, never once have I ever regretted my decision to be part of this online learning opportunity. Here at Pasxcel, I am always put on the spot and required to articulate my understanding instead of regurgitating facts.
All my teachers will continue to question us till we fully understand each concept and can link it to real-world situations. I was also sceptical about having to be deprived of social interaction and feared that I may have to work in isolation. Again, I was proven wrong! At Pasxcel, the community is strong and the pastoral care is out of the world.
The bond between us, classmates and the teachers are solidified by Pasxcel’s values and ethos. My grades have tremendously improved and I am faring at 90% across my subjects. My approach, towards learning, has definitely changed for the better. I can safely say that I have become more enthusiastic about studying since joining Pasxcel.
