During the Discovery Session, we found out that he is a visual learner, so we ensured that all his notes are in visual form, enabling him to absorb the information better. This has helped him retain information better.
From failing all his subjects, he managed to achieved his goal of achieving 3Cs in his IGCSE exams!
Students are encouraged to discuss, debate, and ask questions during our virtual classes to improve critical thinking and communication skills.
We organise activities such as public speaking and debates to help them build their confidence and social skills.
Only 4% of applicants who apply to be our teachers are shortlisted. Strong understanding of the IGCSE curriculum and exam style is a must.
Our teachers are able to assess every piece of homework. We can track how much time is spent on their homework, how much a child reads, etc.
We work closely with parents to ensure that students stick to the program and stay motivated when they are at home and offline.
On average, we only have about 5-8 students per virtual class. This means more attention can be spent on your child.

I chose PasXcel because of my first interview with one of the teachers, which was when I could tell that PasXcel is different from the other schools. I like that the teaching methods shown in PasXcel are actually effective and make the lesson more enjoyable.
Before I joined PasXcel, the teachers in my past school were dismissive and not helpful when I had enquiries.
The teachers in PasXcel however, are much more energetic and eager to teach the class compared to teachers in my past school who seemed like teaching class was a chore. Any doubts and I can contact my teachers via Discord. Their replies when I reach out are instant and very helpful.
Also, my self-esteem was at an all-time low when I first joined PasXcel. After just 2 semesters here, there is a huge difference in how I participate in class and my overall outlook on school.

We came across PasXcel on the Internet search and after going through its website, I concluded that the school was everything I was looking for. Mr Yuven, the founder was genuinely trying to help us look for a solution and to reprogram their interest and opinion of what learning can be like.
The teaching at PasXcel is conducted in a smaller group, so all students have to pay attention, interact and participate in class. The teachers here are also progress and success driven. They consistently push my boys to do better, both in education and in life.

"More attention to students, better understanding of subjects!"
I used to have 30+ students in my class with one teacher. Our class is known to be the most problematic class in the whole school. It would stress the teacher a lot and they donโt pay much attention to students.
PasXcel is very different because there are only up to 8+ students per class. They pay attention to the students as well.
I used to get a D in Maths, Science and Malay. I was very shy and not that active. Now, my grades are slowly getting better, with the help of my teachers. They made me understand the subjects more and I am less confused.

We undergo a qualification call with parents to address any enquiries or concerns, at the same time assessing if your child is a good fit for PasXcel
Your child will go through pre-selection classes to determine if your child meets our criteria
Once we have determined that your child is a right fit, we will enrol them and they will be able to choose their preferred programme and subjects.
We assess students via Discovery session. The Discovery session is held to help us craft a formidable game plan to customize your childโs education journey here at PasXcel. It also helps us give you a comprehensive view of your childโs personality and learning styles, whilst assessing your childโs strengths and weaknesses in the different IGCSE subjects.
